Please do continue with the explanation of the set screw installation. Info and pics of the best ways to attach a front block to clean up the front/convert to mech would be much appreciated. Im sure I can machine something that works but references are nice to have.
However...
The RM in my possession is not mine - I was asked to do the anti-friction mods to the internals and get it running, nothing else.
I have no plans on will doing any writeups on mech conversions but I'm always available to answer any questions.

What I've done in the past is cut the neck down, just under where it flares out to fit a hopper, and install a Lapco universal clamping feedneck. Works pretty good.
Nummech can also make you a custom feedneck stub.

I second this. I bought a Rainmaker and was told it had all the Marty Mods on it....I have no idea what that even means!

My only question is what exactly are the Marty mods and how are they done? I've never owned a rainmaker, but I've always heard of the Marty mods and never really heard how to do them.

-Would also be nice to see someone make solenoid mount again.
-Board options that are capable of running the two different types of solenoids
I'll add to the thread, but for now:
Ram specs are easy - 1/2" bore, 1" stroke, double acting.
Delrin bolt - custom required. Nothing "off the shelf" fits.
Board options - anything that has adjustable dwell up to 55ms.
Noid mounts - custom required. Maybe Doc?
Porting - you'll need a custom valve. Body already has pretty big ports. Truthfully, you're handicapped by the tiny valve chamber volume, one more reason to gut and volumize the stock regs.
