    First Strike Phantom Body

When real steel ammo wasn’t so expensive I used to do a lot of plicking and target shooting. With Hawaii being so small I couldn’t get into precision shooting or long range shooting so it was mainly just 22’s or my 308 for hunting. I have air rifles but those are pain since you have so much other stuff that goes to the range with you too. Then I saw a couple YouTube videos of First Strike Phantoms. Were those bodies produced by CCI or another company or were they all back yard builds? I’m kind of interested in seeing my options on this. I don’t really want to buy another Phantom mainly just a body I can swap in out as I get the itch.

I took a Haveblue autococker threaded body and just mill the slot open to make it a first strike single shot. Back yard build for me.

That’s cool. I thought about using a cocker threaded ASP body so I use the Lapco threaded FS barrel. I figure this would a good trainer for the kids, especially to see the paintball leave a big splat.

I am using the 20" hammerhead First-strike threaded barrel on this and it is amazing. The only reason I went with this body was because it had the same OD as the barrel so it would give the gun a nice clean look.

This is a right feed Cocker that Arctic milled the body to hand load FSR into. Then he handed it down to me and I did my twist on it. Thing shoots lasers.

I never thought about building a cocker like that. Then I would be able to use my favorite slide frame that I saved when I sold off my last autococker.

It’s not to hard. Really just need a dremel and a steady hand.
