    Need info Phantom Slotted Handle

I know I saw somewhere on mcb that someone had a modified CCI pump handle that was slotted to take a Dye barrel.
For the sake of being different I want to run an Dye UL on my phantom. I can get it threaded by SSC but I do not want to run an Under cocking kit.

I recall seeing a slotted pump handle ( I believe it was here on MCB ) but I cant locate it in the search.

    any help is appreciated..

Once upon a time, I think CCI sold stock pump handles bored for 1" barrels. Since the hole in the handle is offset from center, when its bored to 1" it creates that slot you are thinking of.

Yeah, if it’s like the ones I’ve seen it’s just a regular handle drilled out.

Its just a handle that is bored for a 1” OD barrel. The outside diameter of most cocker barrels.

by the time you find a round head cocker body and a handle it would be cheaper just to get a phantom threaded dye UL. It fits in the stock handle they run about $100. It’s one of the only barrels I have found I actually like better the the stock CCI barrels. It’s a really nice shooting barrel and it’s quieter then the stock barrel. Most aftermarket barrels on the phantom make it louder.

That’s my only concern about SSC they have some questionable dealings in the past. I have purchased products from them and never had issues but they were in stock products like tools and adapters for spring feeds. He’s got some cool products. But I have herd of people in the past having issues with his custom work. Lately he has had positive results tho. I would love to have my Ano matched Dye barrels done like my favorite barrel I got from Paintball gateway. I’m Just a lil nervous sending them work with SSC and there past history.

Ryan at SSC is a close friend of mine and does great work, but I will be the first to admit he can be slow to get custom work done. If you want it done well and are not in a rush I 100% recommend. If you want some of his production work like his triggers or pressure testers, he packages and mails orders pretty much every day.

You could also have them freak bored I have a gloss black one I run a lot that has been C bored. The threads were chopped off to remove the oring groove and it was bored and rethreaded. They are sweet barrels I run them on all my phantoms. I have a cocker threaded body and have run cocker UL barrels on my Phantom. But honestly the Phantom specific one shoots nicer and it will fit in the over barrel handle style. Definitely the way to go if you can find one.

The techt ifit cci to autococker kit would be easy too, i
i believe it comes with the larger diameter handle. (But I don’t know what diameter it is)

You can step drill out the stock handle to fit the IFit kit. I have seen that done a few times it’s OD is a bit smaller then cocker barrels. You basically just make room for it on the back side of the handle.
          Working...
