Just picked up a used SS-25. The entire pump plate/pump rod/back block assembly has some wiggle in it, both at the junction of the rod to the plate, and the rod to the back block. This also means that the pump rod can rotate (though it doesn’t do this on its own when firing).
what’s the best remedy to tighten all this stuff up - blue loctite the threads on both ends?
