    For archives: Smokin Paintball 4 Channel Matrix back plug (Gen E, DM3, Evolve)

    Copy of instructions that came with a SMOKIN PRODUCTS C4 back plug, for archives. I would guess the Evolve unit to be same. Pardon typos, OCR scan.
    ================================================== =================================================

    Make sure your marker does not leak before disassembly. Check velocity or speed of paintballs from the marker before installing the 4 Channel. This is to assist you in trouble shooting if it is required after assembly. If your marker leaks or shoots very poorly before installation, the 4 Channel has no direct relation to this already existing problem. DE-GAS THE MATRIX BEFORE PROCEEDING. TURN THE MATRIX OFF BEFORE PROCEEDING. Unscrew the knurled knob and threaded rod on the back that holds the breech on the marker. Remove the back plate that the threaded rod goes through. MAKE SURE THE MATRIX HAS NO AIR GOING INTO IT.

    Unscrew the stock rear plug. When removing the stock rear plug check to see how easily it slides over the two small o-rings on the back section of the bolt. Apply a small amount of DOW 33 to the inside of the 4 Channel and the two O-rings on the back section of the bolt before inserting the 4 Channel into the gun. Check to see how easily the 4 Channel slides over the two o-rings on the back section of the bolt It should be very similar to the stock rear plug that was removed. If it is harder you might need to turn up your LPR reg under the barrel. If it is very easy the 4 channel might leak out the center hole. Screw the 4 Channel into the gun.

    You will notice we have made a slot in the back to assist in screwing the 4 Channel in. This slot will help reduce over tightening of the 4 Channel into the gun. When the 4 Channel bottoms out back it out a 1/4 tum and it is set Air Matrix up and check for leaks. If it does leak out the center hole of the 4 Channel replace the two small o-rings on the bolt with new ones from you parts kit.
