Mini GS board reflash for ICPL

So I'm brining my Mini GS LE as my backup to my 99 STO to ICPL Chicago. Going through the manual, it seems that it will only go down to 8bps. That won't do since the electro cap is 5.5. this thing is pretty new for me (just a few months, really) so I gave Empire/GI a call to see if there is a way to get my Day of The Dead Mini to go 5.5. they said that there's already a firmware for it and to just send it in. I was out of state last week so I asked my wife to pack it up and send it in. Left our place on Thursday and was on the GI docks Friday. It's Tuesday now and it's back in my hands!

Great customer service from the techs and incredibly fast turn around for something that I was worried about not having back before I leave next Friday morning.

I'm sure many of you know this already but just wanted to share my positive experience.

(I'm guessing this would be the same for the Axe?)

That's actually quite awesome. I am a fan of the Mini in general and the DotD ones are cool.

It's pretty stock. Since it's AC threaded, I can use my other barrels like my Multiple Switch or Freak Barrels.

I recently picked up a Mini GS and the redline OLED board. I just left them a message about flashing my boards (stock and redline). My local field has mechanical tourneys and electros capped at 5.5 bps are allowed. This would be a backup but it would be nice to have the rof low.

Since the restructuring, I'm interested in seeing how it will go when you send it to Kore. Give an up date when it gets back in your hands.

They called me back not long after I left the voicemail. I'll send the mini gs and both boards in for flash. They even said they'd set the bps to what I want if I tell them that information. Very happy with customer service!

Got mine back today. I shipped to them on 1/14 to try to avoid the Holiday rush for USPS. I told them on the phone and in the letter I expect to at least pay for return shipping but they didn't charge me anything. They flashed the stock board and the redline board for me. Very impressed with Kore!!!!!
