I still need to just submerge this thing in about a gallon of CitriStrip to get the internal paint and other small areas cleaned up.

Mine is with KCCockerDoc getting fitted for an AKA bolt cage.

I was going to try a shotgun cleaning kit with a drill to clean up the insides. Probably should be really gently sand blasted at some point too.

I think we are waiting on BMC to do a run of LPCs for us to, but he just moved so it got pushed to the back burner.

The LPCs look great! They have a stock Kingman look to them and they certainly have a lot of volume.

That's a clever way to get rid of the fireballs on the body. I especially like the open space between the tubes.

They have even more volume then meets the eye, BMC drilled them large and dropped an insert in for the spring to rest on.

The Pictured FBM is BMC's personal one, the bottom is also milled for a gas through grip.

Ok...the clean up milling BMC did on his FBM body is kinda sweet. That almost chances my mind on messing with these a bit...almost.

I need to get 'round to my FBMs as well. They would make great winter projects and also great threads for everyone to read during the slow winter months.

Interested in seeing how these builds go and what I can learn for my Raven build. What internals will you be running?

Nice! I have a VS2 valve in my Raven, just need to order a spring kit and it’s helpful to know which kits are suitable.

The warrior kit will work, but you will need to trim the springs. Warrior short style valve spring: 1 1/16"
Warrior Trimmed Striker spring: 3 1/2"

So I need to order both valve and main springs to run the VS2 valve? Good to know!

This is a kick in the pants that I still have 2 FBMs, a VLM, and an SBM to finish. Sheesh!

Magnaport valve, light black springs, stock slim striker and a Shocktech bolt. I am debating on a AA Vigilante reg (anno match) or a chrome Stab.
