    Show me them Spumps...

I have been sitting on this for a good minute, but I think I have enough to post something of my own to get this party started... feel free to move this to the Miscellaneous Arms' Room, if it fits there better. For all are welcome here, so long as it was once a STBB and will be a pump forevermore...

I almost posted this is the Empire Arms' Room. Lol.
    Here's what I gots, thusfar (work-in-progress):

    Empire 18" barrel (w/681&690 backs),
Empire pump kit on a Trilogy guide rod,
    Empire reg,
    Empire grips,
    Empire On/Off,
    Empire rail,
    AKA feedneck,
    AKA Lightning bolt,
    TASO Humpback frame...
If you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.

There's also this Empire 007 Apex BS, that I love oh so much. Have you ever played that blizzard level in Black-Ops(?) with the suppressed auto-shotty and the heartbeat sensor? Yeah...

It used to have a TL body but I just recently swapped it out for a more "modern" body with a vert feed and ball detent.

Great stuff here. I’ve already posted mine in a build thread, but to keep this thread going.

Those finger groove Bob Long frames sure are popular. Does anyone else think they are a little too wide to be comfortable?

I personally dislike any frame with finger grooves. I think they are uncomfortable as they never fit my hand. I'll use them but...

Anyone willing to highlight there linkage to the bolts/hammers? Saw a couple that have peaked my interest. This is always a challenge.

Just followed the Vike's method. Setting the striker to the trigger sear needs no measurements since the original semi auto action is already done for you. Use a dremel with the cutting wheel to get that slot. It just needs to be the right amount of travel in the slot for your linkage post to travel forward and seal off the breech with the bolt. Next important part is to make sure it's a smooth ride forward and back.

                      Hello ChoSanJaun:

What i was referring to was the linkage of the pump rod to the bolt or hammer. example, yours is attached to the back of the bolt via a custom Cocker-like back block. Looks very clean and functional. scottieb's looks like he slotted the body a bit forward and tied the rod in to the hammer. Both variants look good and i would like to see how they were done if i could. Thanks for your reply.

There is not a special link between the bolt and striker
the pump rod connects to the bolt and the striker is slotted for the bolt pin to travel through

                          Ahhhh, thanks for the clarification!

So everything that's red on the Spump is my own design and I 3d printed. Here's a better pic of my back block.

I have dual arms on mine. Been playing with it like that for over a year now. Think I'll move to a single arm setup and see how much stress a single arm will take and where the wear happens on the bolt.
