N1 Insert fix

When I first got my black friday N1 the damn barrel wouldn’t grip the inserts.

Research led me to the Nova fix, which is squishing the inserts oval so they stay put.

I think that really sucks for such a short insert.

So instead I wrap scotch tape around the insert a little more than one go-around, and it friction fits perfectly.

Cycles perfect for the 500+ test shots across different inserts and paint, but I haven’t played a whole day with it.

they recommend squishing the insert? doesn't that defeat the purpose of an insert???

Can't say I had the same problem with my used N1 and inserts. Used it for a scenario game for about couple hours and didn't have any issues with my inserts. Variance in the outer diameter of the inserts?

Newer inserts have a directional arrow lasered and I think they flare the edge a little for grip. I never had an issue with them.
