    Pneumatic Assists Unite!

its hard to classify these things ya know? its more pump than semi, but its not exactly a pump either.. damn you brad nestle for even dreaming this nonsense up!

so i had decided early this year, i wanted a project, and it was gonna be a pump assist

    i had rules though,

1, it had to be a mid or half block. i know it sounds terrible to say this but i have shot so many half blocks for so long, a moving back-block makes me flinch now.. its embarrassing and i hate it.. but my therapy involves a resurrection and T2 so nothing really gets resolved...
    2. TJD handle, no alternatives, have always wanted one.
    3. Must have auto-trigger. cause, i mean lets be honest, if there ever was an excuse to auto-trigger, this would be it.

ill post better pictures later, for now, youll get this one, and a clip of it working

      thank you,

having seen a few TJD/numech's posted (theres a dude on facebook who has a thing for them), there is something really wild about seeing a "pump" cocker with no vertical reg..

as far as i know, andy still hasnt quite figured out the auto-trigger, but hes working on it, and i suspect he'll have it rocking soon enough

looking forward to seeing your finished product!

          yeah yeah, show off

that looks great BTW, i still need one of those frames for my build

what hopper are you using? i wanted to use my CTRL cause its smaller, but it pushes on the stack too much and causes double feeds

im guessing ill have to go with my revvy until i can source a stronger detent

I, too, have a PA Project. The body is a black 04 Pro Stock I will have feedneck mod done on. I couldn't find a full TJD kit so I am using a PA Light. I will post pictures as this project develops and more importantly after I figure out how to post pictures on this current forum.

Its been a while but I was using a rotor just because it was easy to keep one hopper for all my markers in the bag rather than one specifically for each marker. On all my projects I use check it detents if that helps.

im already playing the multi hopper game because of my T2.. could try the rotor though, those dont constantly beat on the stack like the spire

the inception design is identical to the checkit but with a plastic ball, i wonder if the spring is stiffer maybe 🤔

Im pretty sure the check it ones came with a steel and a delrin ball. I always used the delrin. If they are the same maybe you can add some preload to the spring with a washer or an oring.

Well, change of plans on my project ... Same idea, totally different players ...

Midget, minied body and I'm making the air through frame from an old cocker frame ... Will see how it turns out ... Hopefully supper compact

Looks like PA projects are in full swing around here. I wanted a full TJD kit but no one is selling right now so I picked up a mini PA kit and now trying to figure out a "hitman mod" for it and the AT. Biggest issue I'm having is the std pump arm drilled for AT.

I never understood the point of these. Then I got a chance to shoot one. Not going to lie I want to build one now. They are fun to shoot.
