Thanks. Yeah, I'm going on the paint thing based on what I've read in some Reddit discussions about it. I've gotta do some filing and rounding-out, too, apparently.

I mean, at the end of the day, it should work pretty well even with "bad" paint. It just doesn't. Is this an EV product or something Mike cooked up?

Stick feed works a lot better so that's what I'm using. I feel like I'll need a whole day of just filing edges down and making little changes to get the spring feed functional, and that's a big maybe even. It's kind of a project piece now.

unfortunately, i dont think the paint is your problem. everyone ive known who tried the springpheed had issues, myself included. the camera is amazing, but youll have a lot more fun if you just switch over to a regular stick feed. nice improvisation with the tank/stock/hose clamps. similar to my openclass setup

Thanks! The spring feed looks cool, but feeds poorly enough that I can't really use it. Home field's paint is tiny and football shaped and I think this might be the issue. Right now I have an old WWA one piece feed on it.

Nice build! You should get one of the FS 4.5k /18ci for that thing. It will match perfectly with the JoLo and a 50 round pod pack setup.
