Brass vs Nylon Cupseals

Is there any benefit to the nylon cupseals over the stock brass ones in a 007? Restoring an old rusted out one with the original guts and it needs a new one. All the ones I've ever owned have had Lapco tubes and cupseals, but not sure if the actual cupseal makes any kind of a difference.

Also, where can I find the seal for the stock one? Can't find my o-ring pick so haven't pulled it out yet to compare haha.

In my experience the nylon cup seals tend to be a bit less finicky (seal up more easily), but I haven't noticed any differences otherwise.
