Ok maybe I just need to trim the longer one I have down a bit.

I have been running it the Gargoyle Slider and UC kit on my Phantom for about 6 months as my main shooter and it hasn’t given me any issues. It’s filthy because it’s gets used a lot.

I want to try and mount it on my gloss black Gargoyle eventually I just haven’t gotten around to messing with it. The aluminum handle add a lil weight to the front of the marker and it really balances out nicely. It’s comfortable and smooth. I like the design.

Actually, now that I reinspected the kit and found the second upper guide rod I don't need to bother with the CCI duel rod kit.

I assumed it was like the old wevo kits that flexed a lot.

    All good!

    Happy days!

I will correct myself. I have both upper rods! I'm just blind.

Is that second upper guide rod just a pump arm rod with the bolt hook removed? Mine only has one upper rod.

So you used the stock Screw? I don’t think it reaches

Yup, original was for Wevo but built by CCI.

The kit did not come with a thinner nut. For installation when I had mine on I put the nut in place and lowered the body and mounting screw down into place just after that so I could tighten it down.

The answer to your question Stilgar is not likely. You would need to do so much work on the handle to make room for the guides that it would be more cost and time affective to make a custom handle for it. But at the end you would have a quad rod Gargoyle!

I mounted mine to a Phantom body similar to Stilgars setup because you could just bolt it together. I wanted to try the UC kit see how it feels and it all bolts together this way without having to modify the front mount setup. Sorry for the dirty pictures she gets road hard.

Stilgar has the mounting bracket Nish. The issue is how the Gargoyle mounts from the top down and it uses a nut to hold the front half of the body. The Longer front mount screw that I have creates clearance issues on that mounting nut at the area ware the VSC top half bolts to the trigger frame. I ended up putting it on my Garg framed Phantom because the phantom mounts from the bottom up. If we were to source a thinner mounting nut it would work fine. Im assuming the original kit came this way and the nut was lost at some point.

It won’t mount to a dual rod plate the design is completely different. The Gargoyle dual rods are above and are guided and keyed into the gargoyle frame. The CCI plate has them below and they slide into the handle. The Gargoyle plate only had one larger guide rod similar to the older style CCI under cocking kits.

Could you just have a modified "key" section of the handle or do you need a whole new handle?

Is this because you don't have the RTR mounting bracket?

Found one I just need to shorten up the collar. Much easier to modify. I got a few just in case I mess one up or lose one. Stay tuned... lol getting there.

Ok so strike two I’m going to need a lower profile nut of some sort to clear the Vert ASA the stock one is a bit to fat. Longer stud will work and provides enough clearance but the speed wheel is a lil to chunky (like me) to fit. Going to Look tonight to see if I can find something on mc master carr. I need a thinner 8-32 nut preferably one of the toolless type.

edit: I found a nice stainless one but I will have to turn it down on my lathe to work. Im thinking I can match it to the dimensions of the step in the pump plate if I want to get super fancy. I’m going to keep looking and see if I can find something off the shelf that will work tho.
