    New tank?

My only local CO2 source seems to be Dicks. They have not always had refill available... it seems to be hit or miss.

What tank do you recommend to run old mechs that were designed to be fed CO2? I have been told that I need a high output & high output pressure. (Maybe an adjustable bottle reg?) Will possibly be running back bottle guns like ICD Puma, Air Power Vector, and Typhoon/Stroker. Probably RT Classic, Blazer, perhaps a Blade. Could run pump Sheridan, Line SI, PRP or Azodin.

I am an honest 6-2 barefoot and well over 200#. I bought a new lense for my old JT Spectra. I have never run out of paint with a 200 hopper and a pair of Speed Pods.

So, what do you recommend for an old CO2 hound?

Ninja, their standard tanks have adjustable regs so you can bump up the output pressure. If you want something super fancy their pro v2 tanks are much lighter than standard, have a rotatable bonnet and can still be purchased with an adjustable reg (tip: on the pro v2 tanks, if you get a 77ci tank, it will fit in most 68ci tank covers)

But ninja tanks are top notch, 5 year test cycle and 5 year warranty and their customer service is legit

Can you swap to HPA?Does your local field have HPA fill stations?

Local field only has HPA, no CO2. At this point, I think ALL of my CO2 tanks are now out of hydro.

Definitely second Ninja. Their stock output is 750-850 which will be fine for most HPA and CO2 guns, and can be adjusted up to 900 or 1000. If that isn't good enough, they have a SHP reg that outputs 1100 or 1200. Most CO2 friendly guns can be adapted to HPA pretty easily on just the normal pressure anyway.

Home brew/beverage and hydroponic supply shops will either fill or swap empty for filled bulk 20lb tanks. Need an empty cylinder, then some more $$ for a fill station and scale. About the same as an HPA system total price. Then you are doing your own fills, can fill for others to help cut your expenses. Fewer trips to get filled and you can fill 24hrs a day, lots of shops have bankers hours these days. Something to consider.

Yeah, getting your own bulk CO2 canister to fill some of your own tanks might be your best bet. I used to do this before I switched to HPA. One big tank fill would last me sometimes a whole season. You don't even need to "buy" a tank, I think. I seem to remember that I went to a local beverage supplier and they just gave me a full tank for $30 or so. Then when that was empty, I brought it back and exchanged it for a different full tank for the same price.

If you do decide to go this route, do yourself a favor and watch a bunch of YouTube videos about it first. Filling CO2 tanks can be a hassle if you just play it by ear, and there are plenty of tricks out there that make it easier.
