Short Barrels

Welp, I did it. I did the silly and stupid. I want to keep things simple and also keep using my Stella backs. I love the 15" DW Whip Tip I have, so ordered a 10" Whip Tip. I'll be sure to post pictures.

An 8" would be fun, too... I'll probably go Lapco or J&J Edge for that.

Now that I've decided I want a shorty in my life

My wife is 5'. I'm all set.

For me it depends. I use a little of everything. Usually 12" for stacked-tube markers, 14" for cockers/snipers (breech placement being further back makes it feel like 12"), and whatever came with my other markers (Pro Carb, Trracer). Slightly longer barrels tend to help my sight picture. I do have a 10" Lapco Bigshot that I plan on trying on my Emek though. Being an inline design I'm thinking it'll feel pretty good, maybe a little like my Pro Carb. Anything over 12" feels a bit too long for me on an inline design.

Haha same here, my wife is 5'2".
I agree my 15" feels a bit long on the Emek, but I also like that. The 10" stock barrel is a great length, I think even an 8" would be fun to run around with. Might be ttoooo short on a sniper though.
