In honour of impulsing buying an Empire E-Flex Skull mask on eBay, what things have you randomly impulse bought?

Did I need another mask? Nope. Tried to buy one years ago ion eBay but turned out to be a scam. But this had a rare combo of good reviews for seller, cheap shipping and a nice Buy It Now price. Who can resist that holy trinity?! Not I.

One of the worst was a brand new Impulse. Non-vision without a tapeworm. Was basically useless. I also bought an Omen off the wall brand new which worked for one day.

I impulse buy cocker parts constantly. I fantasize about builds, but follow through occasionally at best.

If I see vaguely interesting Craigslist lots under $100 I get sweaty

BPS Reflex cocker. Mentioned I liked them at practice one day, teammate puts one in my hands and says pay me when you have it.

When blessed by the paintball gods, one does not anger them. Of course i bought it. Never used it for anything but I still have it.

Buying two 124ci FS tanks definitely has come to define my rock bottom. I purchased them intoxicated shortly after receiving a bonus at work. They've been great for my projects and backyard shooting. Trying to figure out how to make a nice kydex carry pouch for them eventually(super game, other big games etc.) When I look at both of them in my gear corner, I'm like, look at you now ya rich douchebag. I hate you.

I've impulse bought many things, but the worst things for me are Tippmanns. I've bought several 98s and A-5s thinking "Oh, I'll build up this thing into a real monster! Great project for me!" Then it sits & I eventually sell it, usually taking a loss.
Now I just have a Pro Carb. I'm going to keep it that way. Or at least try.

Ive impulse bought too many things to count. Trolling the internet for paintball stuff before Im fully caffinated has resulted in a few funny wastes of money.

I impulse bought a gen 1 timmy body, and frame. I had the expectation that I was going to get a sci fi board for it. Tequilla sunrise anno, and I made an offer of like 75 bucks expecting the seller to decline, and .. sold. Then I started looking more into Brendans timmy boards to realize they were for 2k5 timmys. Those parts are still in a padded envelope.


Another one that makes me laugh is my Double trouble ion bodies. . I was up at 3 am on ebay looking for ion parts. And a 3 skull black to red fade ion flame body popped up labeled as a trinity body for 30 bucks. Me ( pre coffee) thought it was a mis labeled NDZ flame body and bought it as fast as possible.

I figured, Id judt buy the second one full price, worth it. Then when I found a real NDZ body for sale, I realized I had messed up because I had no clue what body I had.Then I frantically searched the internet until I found a blue to red fade 3 skull body in stock at paintballshop.com out of Australia. I figured that would be the only one Id find. I also figured the similar but different fades would work well together. With shipping and taxes I think the second body was $70 to me door....Mind you, still before coffee. So after the fact I was like crap, that was also a bad buy...

But with the bodies, I love how it came together.

It makes absolute soup out of .50 cal graffiti. My 5 year old can’t even break that stuff stomping it in our driveway. The manual recommends using fs projectiles if standard 50 cal is breaking. I haven’t tried it though because the Facebook group is basically just people having the usp explode in barrel as well and looking for help to get the thing shooting.

There's been a lot of them but more recently, the Umarex TD-50, mech Ion and several Emek printed bodies.

The TD-50 was terrible to use and especially reload. I was going through a "do I want to do magfed or pistols?" phase and realized, no I do not. Also bought and sold a TIPX for the same reason. I could also add the mech Ion which weighed a ton and was miserable to use. Looked cool and I was somehow afraid someone was going to get it before me. I had to try a mech Ion for some reason. Glad that's out of my system. That's the issue for me. I want to do something different and start buying up everything I might possibly ever need for it before thinking it through.

I love my Emek but I keep getting bodies for it to customize it. I finally just bought the FLE kit so I would quit buying the printed bodies and wasting my money on them. I also always have to talk myself down from buying cheaper guns. I don't keep much so buying a $100-200 gun doesn't make much sense just to try it out and hate it. Higher end guns at least resell for a decent amount.

Also glad it's normally 100 degrees in the shade here in SE Georgia or I would own 20 jerseys. I see them all the time and think I should get it. But then I remember I only get to wear one maybe 2 months out of the year. #EndofConfession

A friend bought an SFT shocker back in the day, but had an incident where he needed to reccoup the money back quick. So on impulse, and to help him out, I bought it. I was pretty unaware of SP's behavior during that time, but if i recall this situation correctly; SP had suddenly dropped the MAP (or MSRP? IDK) on the ION to about what it cost stores to buy them before. So my local store owner was already pretty pissed about losing his shirt on his ION stock. Then one of his sponsored players and refs (me) showed up with a shocker in his gearbag, lol. He banned me and the shocker from the tool room, and made me pay full price for paint that weekend.
