So I am kind of new to the whole automag thing and am trying to understand the barrel tips that came on RT models. Does anyone know what threads they are? Where do I find one one of these?

Oh yeah, you're supposed to heat them up and remove them, then reglue them to the XMT barrel. I can't remember the whole process, but I'm pretty sure it's laid out in a thread on AO somewhere.Comment

Found the thread. Ok, yeah. Just heat it up and unscrew it. I'd just use blue loctite on the new barrel. Get water to a boil, then submerge the tip for a minute or two. That should soften the glue up enough to remove it, and it won't harm the finish.
