    Automag Barrel Tip

So I am kind of new to the whole automag thing and am trying to understand the barrel tips that came on RT models. Does anyone know what threads they are? Where do I find one one of these?

Oh yeah, you're supposed to heat them up and remove them, then reglue them to the XMT barrel. I can't remember the whole process, but I'm pretty sure it's laid out in a thread on AO somewhere.

Found the thread. Ok, yeah. Just heat it up and unscrew it. I'd just use blue loctite on the new barrel. Get water to a boil, then submerge the tip for a minute or two. That should soften the glue up enough to remove it, and it won't harm the finish.

These barrels are on the lathe now and will be ready to go on monday. Its not too late to get in on this. The only thing is, i only have enough tips to cover the pre order guys. you can screw your existing automag RT barrel tip on it. AGD or tuna might also have some. 101824
