Finally got a Dishka muzzle break for my Lapco Bigshot Assault on my Tippmann Pro Carbine. I'd ordered one almost 2 years ago on that A-hole site. And kept saying available 2-3 months out on a rolling basis. Finally convinced them to refund my payment, and they reiterated for an umpteenth time it was a Lapco supply issue. Checked Rockstar Tactical and no surprise it was in stock, plus I got a 10% Veterans discount. Tested with 12g with no ammo and damn I love how loud this is. Going to use it next MFOG game with my Paintzapper and Rainmaker MAK magazine adapter. It's super inefficient and heavy compared to my Emek, but it has a nostalgic value for me. Also I got a First Strike 17/4500 at a deep discount with an extra 10% on top. Perfect for my MG100, Emek and phantom in open class setup.

This originally came from Ironchef97 who was working with Rick to make an AutoViper with a 20 round spring feed with a gas thru stock. The Feed tube isn't cut for a spring feed, it does however have a thadadapter cut in. Making a Lever was my original idea but it will be a bit tricky with the offset barrel and gas thru stock! It'll take a custom plate, my BretG lever plate doesn't fit this one.

I know this is the wrong place for this... but i got aa blank rifle stock in on Saturday and spent the last two rainy days shaping it for this RTP Viper Project above, Figure MCB would maybe want to see! I still need to figure out the air sitution and a bolt that will work with the small bore. The breach is .673-675 and the barrel is .677-678 at the muzzle.. maybe netsurfer can save me!


anyways enough rambling... here is the progress. The lower tube is hidden in the stock, planning on making it a left handed bolt action!

Cool little gift from scottieb. I've had the Lindsay reprint of it for years- if you're into manual lathe work, I can highly recommend it- but just because I'm an old-book nut, I always wanted an original for my collection. This ones a '49 print (SB started printing them in 1914) and is in excellent shape. Signed "Dean W. Roper" on the cover- which is common, most of my original machinist books have somebody's name in or on it.

xts is the blue one. xgs jackal is the break barrel, it's a neat little gun.

I'm not sure what lathe yet, still in the research phase. open to suggestions. there is one of them harbor freight 7 x 10 on Craigslist near me for 350 with some tooling, but I just don't know yet.

For $350 you cant go wrong ... and sell it back for that much in 6 month if/when you find something better/bigger/shinier ...
Its a perfect one to get your feet wet, then you either sell it back or mod it
