Stolen Micromag...Please keep an eye out.

    Hey,

So I am in a bit of disbelief, but my Micromag was stolen a couple months ago. I work from home, and I just 3d printed a modular type freak barrel with a suppressor end screwed into it. I took it out at 9am shot it and ran out of air, I placed it on a cooler I have outside for delivery people to grab soda and snacks out of. I got pulled into a meeting and the work day spiraled down hill form there. I went back out after 5pm and it was gone. I had packages delivered form USPS, FedEx, and UPS. I live rather far off the road and no one comes down my driveway except friends and delivery people. Plus My outside security cameras were down at the time (perfect storm of ugh!). This is Winslow, Maine, no one locks their doors, or worries about things being taken. I only have security cameras because a delivery person backed into my garage and took off so I didn't know who to contact to pay for the damage.

I have taken so long to post because I figured I misplaced it, or my kids ran off with it or something. My kids swear they never saw it (They got home right around 5pm and my wife said she didn't see it out there). My wife and I ripped apart every possible part of the house and garage and there is no sign of it. I would be completely shocked if any of the delivery people took it, as I assume they have seen the cameras, and I am on great terms with all of them. If it is raining they will let themselves into my house and leave the packages inside. My cameras have even caught them taking a minute to pet my dog and give her treats. I just don't know who else could have been around.

Anyway, it is a all black Gen 4 MicroMag. It has the 3d printed barrel as mentioned above with a stainless Steel freak insert in it. A 3d printed front grip, a Warp feed mounting plate (no warp on it), a wood grain pico loader printed in wood filament, Retro valve with lvl 7.

If anyone spots this on eBay, forums, Facebook or anything, please let me know. I checked with all the pawn shops and they will let me know if it comes in.

This is the only decent pic I have of it as I just got it about a month before it went missing. The barrel in the pics is not the 3d printed one that was on it.

That's some bullshit man, sorry to hear. Paintball is very niche in your area so I reckon it will turn up one way or the other. Keep an eye on pawn shops and so on. Do you have the serial number?

Nope, I don't have the serial number on the valve... The valve does have heavy tool marks on it though. You are right though, paintball is niche in my area, so I assume the person who snagged it doesn't really know what it is, so I doubt they would disassemble it and sell it in parts. I figure with the foregrip and barrel it will be easily identifiable.

I don't think it says "MicroMag" on it anywhere, so I have just been searching for "paintball" listings, hoping it would pop up.

Damn what a shitty situation. Something tells me one of your parcel carriers knew what that mag is.

Yeah, I was wondering if there was someone filling in for the day. I can't imagine it would be any of the regulars. I know them all on a first name basis.

This one is really on me though, I should never have left it outside unattended though. It's just unheard of around here. My truck was parked out there with the keys in the ignition, as well as my side by side. Stuff like this just never happens.

Man why do terrible things happen to good to people! Sorry that happened to you. Hope the world throws you some good Karma to even it out. I will keep my eyes peeled on Ebay and Forums.

Because good people assume everyone else is equally as good and they tend to lower their guard.

I am lucky that this wasn't my prized pig (although I treasured it greatly), and I have plenty of other gats to snuggle at night. The real hurt just comes from the feeling of being taken advantage of. I view this as a lesson.

Man that really sucks, sorry to read this. I will keep an eye out in Connecticut as well and check the local shop to see if the dirt bad trades it in or something. Maybe you could try contacting the larger New England paintball shops if it stays somewhat local.

honestly, I don't have high hopes on getting it back. I figured if the person was flipping it right away they would have listed it on craigslist, FB, or Uncle Henrys, or sold it at a pawn shop. Since it hasn't popped up any of those places I am sure they are holding on to it.

Put up a sign out front saying “please return my PB gun you buttholes” it should work.

You should post a sign saying, "if you did not notice there is a camera in place. I have video showing you walking away with my paintball gun. Return it, no questions or further action taken. Don't return it and I will be sending it to the police".

They dont know your camera was down at that time, might work.

That is a good idea! I think I will have to try it. There is no way they could have known my cameras were not working.

If it was at my house I would find it somehow flushed down the toilet by my 3 year old.

When I get it out he would say "OH! THAT THING! OH YEAH I DID THAT!" lol
