Anyone tried this collapsible pod filler before?

I know most of you guys are too busy filling 10rd tubes to worry about filling pods but figure I'd ask

Anyone have any experience with this??

I've been thinking about getting a pod filler for a while but every other I've I've seen is rather large, hard sided plastic and I wouldn't be using it more than probably twice a year so when I came across this it was like perfect, but it's from a company that doesn't do anything else paintball so figured I'd ask

Here's a video, it does a better job

The collapsible pod filler I use already comes in the box. It's a one use type.

For real though, you need to have the clamps with it for use? It honestly seems like by the time you pack this in and the clamps you may as well have brought the plastic bin filler.

Are people who buy pod fillers allergic to hands?

I don't understand the fascination with these.

Well, when you're filling roughly 20-25 pods at a time for your crew to hit the field, doing them by the bag or even the hauler gets really old really fast.

Ave then also if you come off the field while the game is still going just to get more paint so you can get back out there, you don't want to be hanging around camp forever have feeding pods

I'm also looking for something that doesn't take up a ton of room in storage because really it's not going to be out very often and the big game I'm going to, I have to fit everything in the back of my truck. Sounds like a lot of room but when you have 5 tables, 3 canopies, 2 tents and everything else for both camping and paintball, that space shrinks fast

I agree. Filling tubes is a pain if you're doing it frequently, and especially if you're running a staging area.

But I'd still opt for a standard plastic ball hauler. Less gimmick & parts, same performance. A good middle ground. And if you're staging out of cars, there's no table to use. This seems like a product dependent on certain conditions, and I'm all about covering the largest number of playing/staging conditions as possible. I can see how it would be handy in super ideal staging conditions, but...

And who the heck picks black as a color? That's just asking for heat absorption & ball deformation, and it seems to me that stuffing the full 1.5 cases in it might compound that problem. If several people all have ball haulers then I myself would just load up a bunch of those & call it good.

I also want to see the loading mechanism. Is it just a slide gate? The picture on the vendor's site & the video footage doesn't really showcase it.

Yep. Slide gate with two posts mounted on the door that the pod pushes against.

For 104$? Nope ill stick to opening all the paint into the case cardboard box then use cut off a corner and use it as a funnel. For big games Ill tape the box shut so it doesnt pop open when I fill pods. Been doing that since I could afford purchasing cases of paint.

That's kind of where I'm at though. The big game we go to every year is 3 days long so we are setting up camp and what not, we will have at least 4 tables set up. It's not just one day. I do have a hauler but the big problem is they only hold 1000 rounds so it ends up feeling like you are constantly stopping to refill the hauler.

Yeah for normal day play there's no way I would be bringing this thing

We use one of these with my team. One person empties the bags into it, and another one or two fill pods. Way more efficient than a caddy, since only one person can have their hand on one at any given time, to either fill a pod, or refill the caddy.

Well I ordered it..... Over a week ago

As of this post, it's still not in the mail

The company behind it seems legit, but they also do nothing else in the paintball realm. The one guy that seems to handle these pod fillers has told me 3 separate times now "it will be in the mail today/tomorrow"

I've told him how I ordered this specifically for my big game that is coming up. I ordered with enough time to account for some shipping delays. Now all that extra time is gone.

I am now restoring to calling him every other hour to try and get some results

The company even has a shipping and receiving department.

He just told me that he is going to the post office on his lunch break, if I don't have the tracking info in another hour I already have the email address for the president and cfo I'll be shooting an email to them to try and light a fire under this guy.

I think this is pretty neat, back when I actually played on a team this would have been amazing as someone who goes either by myself or with my partner to play rec ball though, this isn't that helpful. Still if I ever got back into it, especially if it was 10 man that would save so much time

I just cut the corner off the bag. Instant pod filler.
I use an old box to stack up my pods.

Its funny, the day after you posted this my buddy had one at the field. Guess the guy who created them is local?

I dunno, the fact that its mainly off she shelf components irrks me. They look janky. But they work well.
