I will give her that she’s not afraid to get shot. She will make moves not always the smartest ones (just from lack of experience) super casual like. Makes me laugh because I know if I tried that I would get smoked every time. But she gets in it.

DAMN DUDE. FSR's aren't a joke. I play with them a lot, but they definitely hurt worse than normal paint. She's really lucky you ate that round instead of her.

Gloves are one thing I ALWAYS play with. She's more baller than I am. Lol

I offered gloves 🤷🏻 I’m just happy she didn’t play the final battle because I took a First strike that game at over
400+fps ended up getting an X-ray because I thought it broke my hand. It was swollen for two weeks and left a scar like someone put a cigar out on my hand. Worst shot I have taken in 20+ years of playing. It didn’t even leave any paint just flayed the skin off my hand. I had guys look for a riot round after but couldn’t find anything. Just happy she didn't catch it.

Yeah that’s hard because she’s new and now you’re making the game more difficult. Have her try when everyone els is playing pump. If you can control the environment with people you know it’s even better. Walk ons can be ruthless at times it’s intimidating with a semi for new players. Get her out for one of our pump days and have her try it. It helps when other ladies play as well. NE has some really great female ballers.

I've been pushing for her to give it her first shot at pump during a pump only game. We usually just join open play at our local field. I think she's mostly anxious about having less firepower at her disposal for those open play games.

Bring her to one of our MCB meet up pump days. Pad her up good full send. I did give her a really nice open class pump to start with. She plays conservatively with the pump but she’s out there and still learning. But having the right crew and starting her in a good environment is key. Ash actually really enjoys pump play because people shoot even less paint. It’s actually less intimidating when you actually get out there and play. We have actually gotten quite a few different ladies to come and play. It’s a bunch of old heads so nobody is going to get toxic or shoot anyone up. They’re the type to pass on an open shot so a new player can get the trigger time. It’s really good Paintball definitely worth the travel. Check out the North East section for our games and just get her out there. If she enjoys paintball I guarantee she will have a good time.

Take note fellas. Emeks are good for bribing lady friends. I'd love any advice on getting mine into pump play, she seems to think she'd get her ass kicked once she makes the change.

I did buy the wife a new tricked out Emek from Inception at ION last year. I had just sold some stuff and it was her first time playing ION/Scenario paintball. Simon had this Emek in the booth that she really liked the colors of so I grabbed it for her. She went out of the first boat with me closest to the German spawn. It was a pretty epic weekend and she played really well. So I got her, her own marker. She has been playing with me quite a bit lately so it’s been a good investment. Even got her into playing pump now.

There are some markers that if I see them used and the price is low I'll snag them to have as loaners. I think it really changes the game for a new player to use an emek with motorized hopper vs the "rode hard and put away wet" rental 98s. I do everything in my power to help them have a good day and that means good gear and the highest grade of paint available. The aggression has to come from within, I don't supply that lol. If they really like whatever marker they borrowed from me, I'll sell it to them for however much I paid for it.

Last new marker I purchased was this NOS Phantom collecting dust in North Carolina. Even had a matching Phantom UL to go with it. Probably one of my greatest find’s because is my favorite color combo with all the bells and whistles Ano matching from the same batch. It’s got to be a late CCI because it’s got the newest style handle freak bore and the reg designed for the Revolution.
