Idk but my offer was pretty low just because that's all I currently have on hand, yeah that's definitely a bummer on that phantom

Oh yes, more than once. The one that hurts the most was a few Dye Reflex cockers along with other cool gear for something like $100...they said "oh my husband just gave it to our neighbor, sorry!"

It was about 40min from me in the east bay area, CA.

Was on ebay about a year and change ago, it was a left feed boston clamshell twister autococker in a black, white, and red splash and a dynasty series ion for 400 buy it now, ended up paying 460 after fees, I paid for it, it should have been mine. About 6-8 hours after the sale I see a post on one of the cocker facebook groups asking if anyone bought it, they screenshotted the sellers ID handle. About 2 hours later I get a message from the seller saying that he's sorry and that he's refunding me my money because someone offered considerably more than what I had bought it for and he relisted it. I posted the guys ebay messages on the cocker facebook group and the seller got bombarded with fake bids, the gun ended up getting bid up to 10k a few times. But eventually it ended up selling to someone, tim from paintball tech rebuilt it and posted a video on his youtube channel and I havent seen it since, no public posts or any pics of it out there, If I ever do find out who did snake it away from me, I owe them a sucker punch/never buying/selling to/from them if I've done so in the past. That one really sucked at the time.

That was kind like here, in the Sac area. Guy had listed a nice water pool type cocker, seemed all original and good condition. Listed for like 120. I happen to see right after it posted, replied. He said yeah come by tonight to get it. I would be driving two hours.

Couple hours later he emails back and says he I have a guy offering 250 for it, can you match. I said nope. He then replies ok it seems lots of ppl want it and he is getting bidding war. I told him good luch I'm out. I think someone here did end up picking it and had to send to to Docs to get it going.

Several years ago a guy with a nice collection of custom & PL Bushmasters was letting most of them go. I messaged him about one in particular & we made a deal. I told him I’d PayPal him the next day but before i got the chance i get a message from him saying he decided to keep it. Disappointing but i could kind of understand even though we had a gentleman’s agreement. No hard feelings. That is until i saw someone else posting pictures of the Bushy saying “Look what i just bought!”. Needless to say i was extremely irritated, especially when i wouldn’t have expected that guy to do something like that.

It was a cheap lot of old school stuff. One mini mag, and 2 pgp pumps. I got super bummed when he stopped responding because I wanted to give one of the pgps away for walmazs.
