Well if we are discussing hoppers that nobody uses I'll throw in the greatest agitator ever made

    Halo TSA

Rotor will reverse direction depending on which way the hopper is leaning to ensure that it is always pushing paint towards the feedneck.

    Magnetic closure on the lid

LCD version has a few adjustable parameters and a decent display screen that can include a game timer

Frontman or backman versions depending on what capacity you want.

Shells are not the best but nothing was in the mid 2000s

Yep the shells on mine fell apart in storage recently. Gotta replace them every few years I guess. XD

That's pretty much what I've been doing. Last time I thought it would be cool to put together a clear one.

Until ans sent me a frontman left and a backman right....

Then proceeded to tell me that their inventory was off when I said something about it

Should I stock up on parts to rebuild/repair my Vlocity (which I really liked) or just purchase a new loader? My only concern with the Vlocity is just that the plastic has always felt.... "crunchy" so even if I replaced the cracked and split parts I suspect they'll just break down again over time. I really like the look of the Spire IR2, but will it fit inside of an autococker feedneck without alteration? Call me weird but I like the concept of the loader using an eye system over sound activation.

Last but not least: is there a currently available paintball (or regular gun) case that will comfortably (and securely) hold one or more markers with the barrel still attached? It's a pet peeve of mine that most of the paintball branded gun cases I've seen force you to remove the barrel in order to get everything zipped up. At the very least, is there a case that's well-recommended for autocockers and pumps?
Use what works. I would argue that agitated loaders are better for cockers & blowbacks, but force-feed loaders have their benefits.

          In general:
-Force-feed loaders (obviously) feed faster due to constant pressure on the ball stack. Some force-feed loaders don't play well with certain markers + small paint. This is a semi-common complaint with older Spyders, in which the tried-and-true taller feedneck + agitated loader combo can work better. Before force-feed loaders were invented we had taller feednecks to have more balls ready to be fed.
-Force-feed loaders also weigh more & have fatter feednecks. The latter is problematic with older markers without clamping feednecks. You'll likely need to modify your Trilogy or hopper to get them to fit together. Another option is to use the milling services offered by several members on here to modify the body to take Empire or Planet Eclipse style feednecks.
-Modern loaders are WAY easier to disassemble than anything before ~2010. The use of GRN in their construction also makes them much more durable.

I would use your Revolution for a while & ask yourself if you really need something faster. If you do, some modification(s) will likely be needed. None of the Trilogies & 2k-2k3 cockers I've owned would take a newer/force-feed loader without modification.

Also ask yourself if you need "true" force-feed or if semi-force-feed is good enough. Force-feeds being like the Dye Rotor/LTR & Halo, semi-force-feed being like the HK Speed/Sonic, Egg, Spire IR. There's a plethora of options out there, so it'll pay to do some research. I personally think "true" force-feed is overrated, especially now that most semi-force-feeds are really solid loaders & tournament caps are often set to 10.5 BPS anyway. As solid as they are, I think the Rotor/LTR is overkill for most applications barring Tippmann RTs, RT/X-valve Automags or uncapped ramping.

As for your VLocity, I would keep in mind the current parts market. You'll hit a point in which it's simply not worth it (though that's subjective... but still). There are reasons I don't buy many older things anymore, and I always keep in mind the current parts market when considering buying old stuff. As much as I like Intimidators, I'll likely never own one again for that reason alone.
However, there is also the option to buy a spare loader/marker for cheap to scavenge parts from.

I also like the Exalt cases. Their XL cases are great for pumps & cockers, but you'll still have to remove the barrel. You could get a case that allows you to keep the barrel on, but you'll likely only be able to fit one per case. I'm not aware of any current case that lets you do both.

I use a v1 SpireIR on nearly everything and I love it. It's not weird at all that you prefer eyes. That's exactly why I went for the IR. Works perfectly. And the BK speed feed is fantastic.

My Autococker has been modded for clamping feed necks, but I still have the original feed neck that was pulled out. I can check fitment after work today.
