    New grips for Phantom

Bluefork design has made some cool grips that work with Phantoms or other grip frames with Lonestar style lug. There are 2 types, 1 with stock and 1 without. They will also make the stock style with it at an angle like standard Phantom stocks. Go to Bluefork Design on Facebook.

Interesting. Is the stock removable or is designed to be permanently epoxyed into place?

No, it bolts on. He designed for his air gun frame, but it has the same mounting lug. He also made the frames to bolt onto Sheridans.look at the puc of the air gun, it has one on it.

It's worth noting that I recently needed some custom anno done, a couple of fun projects. But it seems like most of the paintball-specific shops, that I'd really like to help support, are Facebook-only, with no non-FB presence.

Not being a Zuckerberg Zombie, I went with the companies that have a normal, publicly-accessible website and email and and all that.

I try to do what I can to help support the little guys- I'm a little guy myself- but if you don't have a publicly accessible website or phone number or email, I can't.

It's not his main line of work, but a hobby business for him. Like I said above, he is reworking his website to have the products on it, but you can still contact him at the website instead of FB.

Its seems to be an increasing problem and its not just facebook. I've seen businesses that exclusively have an Instagram page or exclusively have a TikTok account and I'm not interested in creating an account just to check out their stuff. On the other hand I know what a pain in the ass it is to manage a website (well a 2010 era website).

How sturdy is the stock? Is it hollow print or a length of PVC?

I do not have one in hand. I believe its a hollow piece though.

To be clear, the stock does have to be epoxied into the grip- it arrives as three pieces- the buttstock, the grip, and about 15" of 3/4" extruded plastic tube. The three parts must be glued together before use.

I asked for mine to be made in grey but it came out a very bright reflective silver. Still looks OK, I think.

I'm hoping that gluing the pipe section here will help hold these pieces together. While I've got serious doubts about whether these parts are study enough for repeated gameplay, I am pleased with how comfortable the grip and stock are to hold, with minimal flex or wobble. I was cautious not to overtighten the mounting bolt, though, especially after seeing that one crack develop already.

While I like the grippy surface panels on either side of the grip, it seems like there should be a third pad put on the rear of the stock to help keep it from slipping on the user's shoulder. I put a little strip of athletic tape on mine for the time being.
