DIY "Simulated Tank Butt" Stock. i-stock?

We could call this an "i-stock" lol.

I thought this up last week so decided to try it out. This was made using an old duckbill ASA I had laying around, 1/2"x2' copper pipe, a 1/2" copper pipe male adapter, a tennis ball, JB Weld, black spray paint.

I made the overall length to match my 22ci tank, about 14". Shoved the pipe into the adapter which thread into the ASA, marked my measurement and then used a pipe cutter. I JB Welded the pipe and male adapter together, then spray pained. Cut a hole hole in the tennis ball, shove it in.

This can be screwed/unscrewed from an ASA, it was cheap and easy to make, was able to make it a length I like without messing with an adjustable stock, and has a rounded butt vs the shape of a T or L.

The 3D printed 86* grip on my Phantom is upswept like CCI fames, which surprised me, so waiting for a wedge to make it all leveled out. Right now the stock points upwards, I will update with pics on the marker later.

Aside from the frame angle causing it to point upward, it feels great so far! Will need to field test and compare to a CCI stock as well.

I like when the tank points upward. It makes elevating the muzzle more natural.

racquet balls work too. I kept getting those little weed burrs stuck on the tennis ball.

Good point! Might wrap it in tape or test out a racquetball if I run into that.

brilliant. absolutely brilliant. this could save so many people out there with a load of spare parts and a little bit of tinkering skill from having to hunt down the much desired stock of their choice.

Here's what it looks like on my Phantom. Wrapped the tennis ball in hockey grip tape to black it out.
