Who's got big balls these days?

For the first time in my life, my local field allows BYOP. What companies are baking big-bore paint these days? The last couple times I went out I was using inserts that were below .679.

Hell Survivors store brand “Fireball” is the largest paint I’ve used this year. I don’t even use widgets in my Phantom it’s so big. The fill is red too, the stuff is rather old fashioned.

It bounces like solid rubber though! So I still use Graffiti for the Monster Game.

The last batch of Graffiti I got was mid-bore, around .685. The Nelson I have is massive, nearly .690, but Nelson isn't currently selling normal .68 paint. GI has been on the smaller side, but >.680.

Depends on what you consider big bore. Valken Graffiti has been consistently .682-.684 for years, probably the largest I've seen in years.

Graffiti has been my go to. Shot some last weekend with my kids and had to dig for stock Phantom barrels with no roll outs. Usually use a 684 insert with it but it holds in an Automag barrel as well.

Last 2 boxes of Graffiti I tried were consistently 682. Tried some GI 3 Star this summer and it was 683-684. But that was a few months ago.

The first strike roundballs are reported to be bigger than .685
No idea what their distribution is like yet.

Shouldn't this go in the "interesting facts about the poster above you" thread?

the last few boxes of HK paint I used was .685-.689

I am curious what the weight is of the smaller vs larger paint

The old one is gone but I started up a new one. It's going quite well. You should go read what I just posted about rainmaker

I just used Triumph for the first time this weekend. Shot pretty well for cheap rec paint. Fit my .684 Freak insert.

I just shot valken graffiti yesterday day and for the first time in a long time I had to go up to my .691 insert!

The case of Triumph I got had basically every ball dimpled, and many looked more like raisins than balls.

That wasn't my experience at all. Maybe mine was fresh, or maybe covid caused a few poor batches.
