Harness for limited paint peeps

I saw someone post a vintage, branded, beer sling from some classic tournament (Skyball, maybe? Also can't remember where... Here? FB?) and people use them for 50rd pods to compliment the according hopper. Walking through TJ Maxx the other night, and I saw this glorious dad item!


Wife looked at me all weird why I was all geeked to find this, then I told her the story. She gets it and is happy that this thing is available for $7.99! Hella great price for those shorty pods to get a home. Since I play all kinds of formats, this will compliment all my gear. (Nothing like finding "paintball" gear out in the wild for such a great price! ) Go buy some Rae Dunn with your wife and get a harness for some open class games... WIN/WIN!

How’s it hold pods? Can you run them lid down or you have to have them lid up to stay in?

Lid up. Friction fit seems to be just fine. There's a retainer section of webbing on the underside so they don't slide all the way through. Won't really know till I at my next game... Which I was hoping was yesterday, but delivery happened after I left for the field. I was wearing it around the house last night and it seemed good.

Yeah, I've got an old skool 5 pod harness from Ronin Gear and it's got a zipper, velcro pocket and horizontal stick squeegee slot. My "newer" 4+5 from GenX Global has nothing and is already falling apart. I feel ya with a simple pocket dealio.
