MCB has kept my interest in the game going. I've met and made a number of friends over the years from the forums. And all the amazing custom works by the various members has kept me motivated to work on some of my own projects.

(many years ago) Meeting BretG at WPP, playing against him 1-on-1 on the speedball field, taking him out with a perfect mask hit with my Crosman 3357, and him taking me out at the same time with one of his Double Barrel Pistols.

MCB helped me build my first autococker from parts, with the access to the Ravi Chopra guide, and the endless source of parts to buy here, and of course, being able to seek clarification on any autococker feature or function , often getting an answer within minutes, which was very helpful.

MCB members can likely still outperform chatgpt on getting advice how to build an autococker!

Am I too late to enter?

MCB helped me in many way. I always loved pump marker and custom brass. Not many for sale on craiglist/kijiji and finding parts is even harder. This comunity also love to help people with rebuild and troubleshoot. It also allowed me to travel and make new friends at different event. And Walzmass is always a fun time of the year.

I would love to be entered. I discovered MCB way back in the beginning in 2003 when the original VM Empire site was on its slow decline and I was looking up information on a VM 68 and looking for parts. Since then I made a whole bunch of friends , gone to many events I probably never would have gone to, and have learned about so many different markers that I now know how to fix it a good majority of them. None that would have been possible without MCB.

The positives of MCB: Met some okay people that are strangely willing to help me keep my markers running.

The negative: I’m not real big on the red guys.
