Time to share your paintball resolution for the New Year!

    Mine:
    1) Play! Didn’t hit a field in 2020. - DONE played June 19th

    2) Continue buying, fixing and selling gear for fun and profit. - DONE and continue to do so.

    3) Use goal 2 to fund an awesome purchase! (Cocker body or nummech airthru frame etc... ) - DONE - bought cocker body, have money waiting for Nummech.

    4) Fix up my mag and find it a new loving home. DONE - traded mag for Dragon cocker, the start of my custom build.

Wow, your goals (minus the mag) are identical to mine (and probably half the folks here)

      1. Play.. ive hit 2 event a year the last 3 years.

      2. Get my paintball room clean

      3. Have fun. A huge reason I quit playing is it stopped being about fun, and started being obligations and work.

      4. Get some old friends out with me and or my lil cousins.

I found random walk on days are the best. I gear down and play with my SC gear. I have the most fun playing this way. I limited my big games down to a few ones that I know are going to be good. (I'm not a big game player really). I prefer outlaw / and or playing people I know. Tournament ball is fun but people take that crap to serious. I still play but I'm not practicing even weekend like I use to. More walk on play has helped bring the game back to me its fun. Lately I have been helping the new players at my local field learn how to out smart the electro trash /and paint hosers. I got one kid that has really picked some stuff up, and has been really tearing them up lately. Its fun to watch em use what they learned to get the upper hand on em.

I will maintain a single digit gun collection. Probably.

        These two, mainly-

        - Acquire some gondola racking to store/display my stuff.

        - Buy an Angel. Would love one for my wall.

          • Play more, I've played but my wife worries (too much) about me and contracting "the Crud" so I have not played as often due to keeping her sane
          • Sell off all of my hoarded material and get myself back down to just what I will actually use (several Phantoms to hit the B/S/T soon)
          • Get back to having everything in one bag (preferably a backpack) that I need to play and keep it ready
          • Finish my Mini-Mag project so I can play mechanical semi-auto games
          • Finish my HPA bottle recharging setup

1.) wean the collection a bit and sell a few guns
2.) play D-Day big game, Commando Paintball, Ottawa , ON - i have been trying to make it to this game the last 4 years.....was so close this 2020, but they cancelled it
3.) play PRZ ( old military base, mental hospital field, apparently very immersive experience! https://www.przpaintball.ca/index.html )
4.) find a field that will allow us to bring our .50 cal spyders, and play as walkons with other .50 cal groups ( this has ended up being surprisingly hard to pull off! )
5.) learn how to take better pictures of paintball guns, my shots always have too much shadows, and high glare on the shiny bits ( from what I have seen on here, one trick to nicer shots is take the pictures outside in natural light and propping the guns up on wooden objects seems to benefit in some weird way too )

I’m in for a mcb Road trip! guess we’ll have to see who’ll run their big games this year!! If we settle on an MCB DDay Commando showing, maybe Alexndl and BenoitOwn could make an appearance who else is out that way?

Oh I'm totally down for travelling to a big game or two.
Frosty's Revenge at Wasaga and Red Dawn at Raiders in march is penciled in. Monster Game at Hell Survivors in July is also on the docket.
              Rone Dog permitting of course.

            1. Wean the collection down to only seriously reliable guns, so when I play, there are zero surprises.

            2. Play more.

            3. Get my gear its own spots in the garage. Shelves, a display rack, and a specific "go bag" for me with a second for when a friend joins.

PLAY: I went three times in 2019 after maybe 16 years gone from the game, went four times in 2020, hope to make it at least five times in 2021.

To play more.... Covid hit my 2020 field time hard.

Oh and to sell off like 25% of everything I have.

Down size to actually end up adding must have dream markers to the collection. No more new markers unless I sell the old ones

Time to Shake that tree with the rest of the vultures and see what falls out. I always say I’m going to sell stuff but never do.

My New Years goal isn’t paintball related. The wife and I are building a house in the spring, on land I purchased in 2020 close to family.

Sell off stuff I will never use, been saying this for years. Maybe this time it will stick, need to finance my powder coating setup.

I have the Eastwood dual voltage gun. I don't have much experience but I think it works pretty well, I've gotten good results out of it.

I have the original Eastwood Hot Coat and the Dual Voltage. I've reconditioned a couple old rental guns and coated some rc car parts.

I'm planning on playing more, maybe travel to some more distant games... if I get a passport, maybe Slim's?

I've been trying to be more selective with my motley assortment of paintball gear, so I doubt I'll sell much, but there may be something up for grabs later this year.

And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

I'm not a huge stock class advocate, I play because the people who I want to play with prefer it. I've made one Slims game and had a blast, it was about having fun and hanging out.

That's why I'd go, really. Plus Hugh offered to drive at one point and who doesn't want to spend 8 hours in a car with him?
