Honestly that doesn't seem too bad at all. $15 gets you x2 markers worth of supplies. I like my critical paintball pod pack.

You can go to the norgren website for the most common macroline fittings.

The pressure ratings are marginal for paintball use. Working pressure is lower than 800psi if I remember, but burst pressure is in range.

Norgren is the manufacturer of the vast majority of macroline fittings. The other common macro fitting is camozzi which I tried but they overall suck compared to norgren and not worth the downgrade.

These fittings are super cheap when you buy 100 or 1000 of them, but mostly they are sold on relatively high cost industrial supply places that have a lot of markup for these kind of things because markup on small stuff like this is their bread and butter and the more expensive stuff is much more price competitive.

    At least that's my guess.

Airsoldier and ANS gear seem to be best price for these fittings right now. I used to keep a bunch around but you know how that goes.

Does seem like a huge liability to use a fitting which doesn't at least meet line pressure spec - not to mention a the lack of margin in rating.

Maybe thought being the line will pop first in the event of some catastrophic tank reg problem? I guess we've been using nickel plates fittings for years without thinking about. I think someone mentioned Nummech fittings - they are pricey but look nice. Not sure what marker your putting them on but good luck. I'll search around some more tonight.

    Nummech fittings are also cool.

I was just thinking about that, where the hell are they getting them from if they can sell them at $5 each and make a profit?

Actually - not seeing 1/8NPT male threads for these.... so I think they are a no go.

Unless I'm missing something, they want $53 for 1 and they max out at 435psi

Going to go ahead and triple post here. I would consider ANSGEAR https://www.ansgear.com/32_Degrees_M...crolinekit.htm

They also have individual parts you can bundle with another order to get free shipping which might work for you https://www.ansgear.com/SearchResult...oline&submit=+

I don't see a combo pack on there unfortunately. Most places want like 11 dollars a fitting so this is a lot cheaper. It sucks there isn't a combo pack because sometimes you really do want 1 or the other type of fitting. Overall if you could only have 1 fitting type though, the swivel 90 is the best.

I love when I can use a fixed 90 though and have something dead nuts where I want it and it all works out, but usually the swivel feature makes it a lot easier to take the line on and off and such.

Is there really no one selling norgren fittings for less than a rip off per each?

Hmm here 5 dollars each maybe see what shipping adds up to http://www.macrolineguy.com/categori...oline-Fittings

They look like camozzi fittings which suck. Don't get them. I promise. Hard work to make the macro seat and then chews up the hose quite a bit. Harder edges and uglier.

Get Norgren fittings for 5 dollars or whatever each. They are the best. From airsoldier or anywhere.
