On the main page, the subforums display the most recently updated thread on the right hand side. Occasionally, some of the subforums display a thread that is either old or deleted or something. Right now on the front page the Electronic and Mechanical BST forums show Dragon Intimidator and Awful Ventures Custom Autococker, respectively. Clicking on those threads takes me to a page without an initial post, but other posts in those threads are visible. It's odd.
Here's my browser, showing the threads. Below that are links to the threads being shown on the front page. The Awful Ventures cocker isn't new enough to be displayed on the right and neither thread even have an OP.

Not a big deal- I just don't like getting faked out, lol. I keep my eyes open for Dragon Intimidators. But I've seen this happen before, where a thread pops up on the right side & it either had no OP or is nowhere near new enough to be there. Not a huge deal, but it's a bug.
