No errors jump out of Chrome console. However, periodically something is pinging out to https://www.mcarterbrown.com/chat/loadheaderdata via POST and returning:

Not sure what 'returned before processing' means. Problem with a job processor? Are separate databases used for PMs and the rest of the form/factor of the site?

Messages seem to be working now. I could access my inbox and also send a couple of messages. So hopefully everything is up and running again.

I guess that means that Nish got his sweet deal, and could turn on messaging for us plebs again.
