From a manufacturing / inventory control / final assembly perspective, based on the two videos posted, I can see why they had poor control of their working capital and variable expenses.

Those assembly cells were very poorly laid out, their substock / stockroom was a disaster and there did not appear to be any visual controls or standard work in place.

After seeing that video it reminded me of when we used to go to the 100 station st. facility, and it had similar material flow problems.
