Cartridge valve modifying
I am looking at the cartridge valve I'm going to use for my new project and the valve pin hangs out of the body, basically 3/8 of an inch and only strokes about an 1/8th, so in the interest of keeping things as compact as possible, I am thinking of taking a good 3/16 of an inch off the valve stem.
Does anyone have a good reason not to? I always hate cutting first and figuring out it's not going to work as I had envisioned second...
Just to clear up the semi-obvious, no, this is not going in a factory body.
