unscrew the cap and check to see if the piston is stuck first.. the early SCM3 and earlier used a thin piston that could get cocked in the cylinder bind up.. ther only other thing i can think that would cause there to be no pressure getting through is if the metering pin (the pin that the piston hits) is broken off or bent..
you can get the guts out by working with the adjuster cap removed, you shouldnt HAVE to remove the cylinder from the base


^And i did it while wearing a helmetcam^ in 1080P HD if you need proof
