Given the way you're using it in this picture, it might be good to have a version that does away with the feed neck and clamps directly onto the gun's nub by itself. That's where some real gains in custom hopper work are going to come.
When the paint is gone, the cone will spin until the spring has been unwound. There isn't really an option to get around this that won't increase the size of the loader by a decent chunk.
Unique shells are possible, that's for sure.
