So... A few pictures...

Now for the "bad news"... The plug is an EU plug, and there was an adapter taped to the outside of the box. There is no ground plug on the adapter... Fortunately it is a standard computer cord, so I plan to replace the janky mess with a simple computer cord.

I will be doing the assembly work with Athena (My father's day present from her ) later tonight or over the weekend. She has things she must do to complete a cake for her friend's birthday on Saturday.

Thankfully I have plenty of extra computer power cords lying around. That looks sketchy as hell. I also find it funny that Creality is misspelled on their own box. Hopefully the wire and the bad Engrish are the only oddities you encounter.

It's the wet evangelists you really need to be afraid of.

Also, another friend is assembling his now. He found a couple of wires which have exposed conductors in the middle of the wire where they pass through a section of the frame. Investigate this carefully.

Lovely. So you're saying I should keep some spare wire and/or heat shrink wrap handy.

Yep. I am just warning you of things people have found. I am planning to try and assemble mine tonight, but that may not happen until Sunday, depending on things which must happen tonight.

Printer assembled. The Z axis needs to be shimmed away from the vertical column about 1mm or maybe a little less, as the Z axis lead screw is not parallel to the upright.

Time for a test print or two.

No pictures, as I am tired, and need to order food. Pictures of what is causing the "issue" tomorrow after the reveal.
