Brass and Wood Fan
I've got the new fan installed, the wires soldered together and the new PTFE tube hooked up. Everything is testing good now. In fact, the new fan is a lot quieter than the original. I should be ready to resume printing tomorrow so long as things keep warming up.

I finally broke down and decided to get proactive about my wet filament. There was a local guy who was selling a dehydrator for $35, so I grabbed it, printed some quick spacers, and tossed my wettest roll inside for the night. I'll weigh it again in the morning and see how much water weight it's lost.

Man, why didn't I think of that? Great confirmation tactic. I too broke down and bought a dehydrator.... after someone monkeyed with the temperature on the spare oven and I melted a couple rolls

It's interesting, because PETG usually does not get bothered by humidity (at least not in my past experiences) but this roll is very unhappy. I could hear it popping and all my surfaces we're coming out textured and rough. This Priline brand also prints at a lower temperature than the Inland I typically use, so I'm wondering if their blend is less well suited to my needs.

It was not a full spool so the starting weight was about 527 grams.

I tossed some PLA in this morning, as well. Starting wight was 704g. About 4 hours later it's at 644g.
