I've been surprised in the [narrow-ness?] of the applicability of any one nozzle size and filament size to a layer size. It makes some sense after thinking about it, but they market printers with a wide range of layer sizes without specifying that you should use a different nozzle once you get away from that sweetspot.

While both of my printers have .4 nozzles, the 3mm filament printer does best between .2 and .3 mm, while the newer 1.75mm filament printer does best between .1 and .2. I'll get some more nozzles some day.

At least nozzles are cheap. That $7 pack of nozzles I picked up has everything from 0.2 up to 1.0.

Does 1mm look like "crayon" size?

If anyone wants one, I've posted both my 8" and 9" Freak bored Autococker barrels for free on Thingiverse. I got to test it out today and I'm surprised at just how well it worked.

What models printers are people using?

I have access to multiple Lulzbot Taz6's at work and we are getting a few prusa mk3 in soon.

I was considering getting my own Creality Ender 3 Pro or the CR-20 pro. Leaning towards the CR-20 just to have auto bed level and upgraded parts that people seem to upgrade on their ender 3's anyways. So $250 + upgrade parts....or $400 ready to go with most if not all the upgrades. OR just save my money and keep using the printers available to me haha. There are just times it would be nice to print at home rather than at work.
