What did you 3D print today?

In the spirit of some of the other show-and-tell threads on here, post up your most recent prints (and print settings too!!), paintball related or not (which may take this a bit OT at times, but oh well).

To kick it off, here's what I printed last night:

A "wood" tile for Settlers of Catan, the first print off many to make a fully printed set of tiles. Not my design though, it can be found here along with all the other pieces: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2525047

Settings: layer height 0.2mm, infill 20%, speed 35mm/s, printed with 5mm brim for adhesion.

Very nice. Will you be painting them or letting the filament determine the color?

Looking good.

Definitely will be painting them. I wish I had one of those quad print heads, that would be sweet! But paint is the cheaper option :/

Thank you sir! Looking forward to seeing your first prints!

I also printed the base plate that has slots to hold little magnets. Printed this at 0.4mm layer height, 60mm/s, 20% infill. Though I'm a bit disappointed in the finish on the top layer, need to adjust a few things. I might try printing layers concentric instead of back and forth.

Do you think ironing would help smooth that out?

I've not tried that, but in general I dislike post-processing of any kind. My ideal is to have the settings dialed in so that I can just pull it off the printer and go! Printing is so cheap that i'd rather reprint something with adjusted settings than mess with filing or ironing etc.

I actually meant enabling ironing in Cura. ;)

This should help.

Last night, I completed prints for the Ender 3 tool caddy and the filament guide from Thingiverse. Both turned out fantastically. I also pulled off the first prototype of my Automag rail. I've already made a few corrections in Fusion and I need to slice it again.

Today I'm starting my longest print yet. In fifteen hours, hopefully I'll have a nice new ergo grip for my M17. I'm also experimenting with the fuzzy skin feature in Cura to give it better grip. Fingers crossed.
