I just ordered my first prints from i.materialise the other day. I was very happy to find that their MJF printing is so much cheaper than shapeways. Look forward to seeing how the pump rod hole holds up.

Yup, I was super curious too. The quality level is appears to be slightly inferior to Shapeways though. i.Materialise's layer lines are more obvious, and the edges slightly less crisp for both SLS and MJF. Unlike Shapeways, who has (for me at least) printed models at 90* angles to the file's original orientation, i.Materialise seems to set up their build trays to maximize yield; all their prints appear to have been printed rotated off axis somewhat. Shipping prices and having to pass through several customs checks is a bit of a drag too, but hey, Brussels is clear on the other side of the planet for me. Anyhow, for this project - I have zero qualms about their service, and I'll definitely order from them again, but not for everything.
