Mr Idiot Box, I have almost finished this design and print. Preliminary tests I think this will be effective on a barrel with more porting, like the smart parts all American I have it on. The stock barrel doesn't seem to be much difference. I will keep

Ok I have completed the inner tube successfully, and found black 1.5" ABS piping to cut down for the outer tube. I have not been able to track down any open cell foam that I can use on the inside yet. I am going to try printing one of the .875 which is the Tippmann barrel, I know the stock Sniper was .995, and Sheridan .815., I will try to get a completed assembly photo soon

$25 is cheap, given the ambiguous ATF rulings on the subject.

Sell just the inner piece, and have the end user source the pipe.

thanks guys, guess in my excitement of all of the capabilities of the printing, and looking at all the parts I have that I have wanted to fix, I overlooked a few things. I appreciate the heads up.

This is probably the best route. Size yours to work with an off the shelf PVC cut and then ship it without the 'cover'. Selling a fancy muzzle break is fine with the ATF, and if a user adds to it, those modifications are on them (as long as you don't give instructions on how to do so).
