Slicer Software

What slicer do you use? What do you like about it? Dislike? What other slicers have you tried?

I know we've discussed slicers before in other threads, but wanted to get a bit more detailed.

I've been pretty much solely a Cura user since day one. Starting back when it was the version 15 and previous interface. Only a few times have I tried anything else. But I have had the bug the past couple days to try some new ones, so currently playing with PrusaSlicer (previously know as Slic3r Prusa Edition), and downloading Ideamaker at the moment.

I've been cutting my teeth on Cura so far, still dialing in settings for my current printer. I happen to have Prusa MK3S in the mail, so I too will take a stab at PrusaSlicer soon.

Jealous! I will get one of those Prusa machines eventually.

I've been using ideaMaker a lot lately, I'm liking it better than Cura or Slic3r.

What about it do you like better?

One of the reasons I liked Cura a lot was the customizable supports. So far, Slic3r isn't nearly as versatile with supports. How about Ideamaker?

I much prefer the way idea maker handles supports compared to Cura or Slic3r. You can more easily add them to specific locations.
