Weight, and air flow speeds allow the gun to work at a point, and when you just let it go there is a natural mechanical harmonic. You recall the bps of a tippmann that had a bad sear or low on air is very consistent ? Same deal.

Just like you found with some of your "special" parts you can effect this via changing some of those constances. The easiest is operating pressures, up the pressures and thing go faster. Change the weight on a few things and it will go even faster.

I don't know if the concept of harmonics is the same as I'm imagining but would you say its like over revving an engine and floating a valve? I just a different image that I thought of that might make sense for some... may not even be close though. lol
