I believe these are purpose built but i could be wrong.

The new air-thru drop just posted.

Looks great!
Now just waiting on the single-trigger frame.

So uhh.... seems like it would be a pain in the *** to field strip. Also I mean it's hard to bear a cp on/off for ease of turnability. Is the new asa knob comparable to that or what

I think these are really cool, and the price is surprisingly low, but I'm kinda curious if I'd find that fitting digging into my hand, as I tend to grip as high as possible on the frame. It seems like it would be perfect if there were a left-side version but then you'd need a reverse valve and it's not like there are a lot of those floating around.

I'd have to consider it if they do eventually come out with a single trigger. Double trigger mechs just aren't for me.

it can. but the reality of it is it had to be on that side and there wasnt anywhere else to put it.

Andy can machine the other side for the fitting aswell. The issue is that most of the valve fittings are on the right hand side. putting the fitting on both sides means putting an unsightly plug on the wrong side of 90% of the buyers frames. That is why.

Andy says he's willing to drill and tap it for you on the left side, but you'd need to contact him directly instead of going through the site.
And if you're willing to wait until a new batch is made, they can do it for you before ano.

If it's straight through, I'd put the plug into the right side facing in so that you have a smooth face on the outside and use the hex wrench through the body to tighten it in place.
