before you lower your pressure check your detent and make sure its holding the second ball up high enough the bolt is not scraping it when it goes by. if it is than it is possibly cracking the second ball when it does.

From the manual:

"Pressures over 1000 psi will damage the regulator and reduce performance."

And

"We found the best performance to be in the 270-280 fps range."

I played at a field a few years back that made my brothers and I shoot 260, their paint was a "special" formula because they cater to low impact and the paint was crazy brittle. One of my brothers kept having breaks when he'd try shooting fast and he didn't know what was the cause. We came to the conclusion that turning the velocity down to 260ish was making his Lv10 kick in while a ball was breached and push a ball into the barrel and another ball loaded into the breach

I had no problems, but I was one balling all day with the occasional rope of 5 paintballs

Ah that does make some sense. Sometimes I would chuff and two balls would come out at really really low velocity

In this regard, I honestly think that is more lawyer speak than "truth". I mean, as a start make sure you have some properly rated steel braid and fittings so nothing blows apart. Thing is that RT on/off goes hyper reactive around that point, sometimes a little lower or higher. There were loads of folks doing it, and I can't recall ever hearing negative feedback about it aside from paint usage.

Try turning down the pressure on your Rotor. You may be putting to much pressure on the ball stack causing double feeds.

How would I go about this. I bought it used and there was no manual. There is also only one button so I don't really know how I can try to do that

I turned mine all the way down, maybe even further than he shows in the video... Basically, just a full turn from the screw being completely loose. Reduced breaks and always kept up fine with any of my markers, but I don't play tournaments either.

I had mine like free dummy. Pretty much turned all the way down and it could keep up with my shooting and RTing no problem.
