Not mine, but he gave a hint. It's a Boy 15. Boy is an injection molding manufacturer, 15 is the model number. Looks like 22 ton, 1.5 ounce shot size. I've never worked with IM, but I'm building a smaller (simpler too) one for myself.

I'd love to know what this one will be used for.

Private sale, I'm in New Zealand. I've been patiently watching out for one for the last few years and managed to snag it cheap.

I don't have any real plans just yet though I'll probably try some SMG 68 clips, first strike reballs etc.

Anyone have an opinion on a Zay 7032? One semi-local for $800 but is a little dirty, doesn't look blown out though.

I don't like how it only goes to 1500 rpm, and is it a metric machine?

Hmm, good point on the metric, didn't think about that. I could make it work, but that would be an awful lot of converting every time I used it.

Uhh what? That thing is a glorified bench top drill press... Speed range is a joke, rigidity and spindle bearing quality is likely another limiting factor. Better to invest in something more capable I think.
