lapco wrath bolt catch

having trouble with a lapco wrath i just got. when i pump it back the bolt is not catching on the little hook. is the spring too long? or something else?

here are the internals all laid out, the clip is backwards in the photo but not in the marker

here is how it looks when you cock it back

see how the clip sticks up and dosent attach

here is how it should look

thanks in advance,

You have to gas the gun up or it will not catch.

The hammer is backwards in that disassembled photo as well.

If it is gassed up, and the hammer is in properly, but it's still not cocking, make sure there's a spring between the sear (the catch) and the body of the hammer. It's small and can get lost or fall out when you've got it disassembled.
