See and above is absolutely correct.
But then there manufacturing tolerances and 4x working pressure and even worn tank inspection....
And to throw a monkey wrench into it or a scuba tank visual inspection you can't have a knick great than .03 deep or it is decommissioned....
Most scuba shops won't touch it if it's altered beyond anything the manufacture does.
So add that to your knowledge bank.

Looks like this thread hasn't been active in a while, but I've got a few neat old CO2 tanks (7 oz and odd 12 oz) they're from the late 90s or 2000s, would I be able to get them hydrotested?

Most likely the 7 oz does not need hydrotesting. The 12 may but that depends on the maker, diameter and length. My 7 oz Catalina Cliff Impact Division tanks never need hydrotesting in the US unless they are physically damaged.
